Volunteer to help with a Community Garden

The Helena Independent Record published some great articles on Community Gardens recently.  Check out these stories – http://helenair.com/news/local/article_8827ce32-45f1-11df-a00b-001cc4c03286.html and http://helenair.com/news/local/article_488cf212-4aa5-11df-b3a5-001cc4c002e0.html.  Community gardens help feed people and increase community spirit.  Tizer Gardens recently donated seeds to the Helena Garden Club.  We shared these seeds at the April meeting and are donating the rest to the Helena Growing Community project to help plant more gardens in the Helena area.  Thanks Tizer Gardens for partnering with us in planting community gardens.  To learn more about volunteering for a community garden or starting one in your neighborhood, click on the Helena Growing Community Project link on the right side of this site.
