Workshops today at ExplorationWorks – Join Us!

In honor of the Helena Garden Club’s 60th anniversary, we will be having some gardening workshops on the 2nd level of the ExplorationWorks Museum.  If you are not a member of the museum you will need to pay entrance fees but it is well worth it. Come early and explore the museum.  You do not have to be a kid to play.  Science is fascinatingfor people of all ages.  The events today will start at 2 pm with a brief kick off celebration followed by two “Do It Yourself” workshops on composting with worms and building mini-greenhouses out of recycled water bottles.  If this doesn’t interested you, you can attend some seminars on our state flower, the bitterroot and other state gardening symbols such as the blue bunch wheatgrass, meadowlark, ponderosa pine tree and mourning cloak butterfly.  We hope you get out, enjoy the sunshine and swing by today for this great celebration.
