Helena Garden Club receives NGC grant for $5000

We are thrilled to announce that we received a $5,000 grant from the National Council of Garden Clubs for flood restoration work at Tizer Gardens.  After our lavender program and meeting tomorrow, we will be heading to Tizer Gardens for Gardener’s Day Out to enjoy all the festivities.  We will also be sharing about composting with worms at our booth.  The Helena Garden Club will be presenting the check to Tizer Gardens owners, Richard and Belva after the last program.  Hope you can join us.  Below is the schedule of activities.  For more information visit Tizer Gardens web site at http://www.tizergardens.com.

  • 2:15 — Growing, Harvesting & Preserving Herbs by Jennephyr Richter
  • 3:15 — Favorite Perennials in the Garden by Belva Lotzer (Co-Founder of Tizer Gardens)
