October Meeting – Creating Certified Wildlife Habitat

This Saturday, October 8th at 10:30 am the Helena Garden Club will be learning how to create a Certified Wildlife Habit in your Backyard, a program sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation.  www.nwf.org/gardenforwildlife.  Montana Wild is Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks’ new discovery center out at Spring Meadow Lake.   We will also have a seed exchange.  If you bring seeds, please make sure they are labeled with the flower name, color, year collected and any other info that would be helpful.  The public is welcome to attend.  There will be a short meeting after the program around 11:30 where we will conduct some garden club business.

To get to Montana Wild, head west on Euclid Avenue/Hwy 12, turn right on Broadwater Avenue near Kessler School (street that goes to George’s food/Kessler Brewing Company Building). The Discovery Center is the first building you see on your right.
