September Meeting this Saturday at 10:30 – Permaculture

It was a whirlwind summer, there wasn’t even time to post updates but we have accomplished many wonderful things this summer.  We planted flowers at the Cooney Home, Reeders Alley and the Original Governor’s mansion.  We made crafts to sell at our Secret Garden Tour booth.  We built and sold 20 blue bird houses.  We created a Wildlife Habitat Garden at Montana Wild and we presented on Sensory Gardens at the State Brain Injury Conference.  Stay tuned to our Facebook site for pictures of some of our summer activities, coming soon.

Saturday, September 22 will be our first meeting of the 2012-2013 gardening season at 10:30 at Montana Wild, 2668 Broadwater Avenue off Euclid Avenue/Highway 12.  This month’s program will be Permaculture, a design science that uses nature as a template presented by Susan Hartman, Master Gardener.   It will be followed by a business meeting.  The public is welcome to attend.
