About the club

The Helena Garden Club encourages anyone interested in gardening to join the club.  The club takes part in many activities such as educational talks, field trips, fundraisers,  community projects and hands on gardening activities.  You do not have to have your own garden or even know much about gardening to join.  If you are an experienced gardener, you can share your knowledge with other gardening enthusiasts and may even learn a few new tips in the process.

We meet September through June.  Our meetings are mainly on the last Thursday of the month at 6 pm at Montana Wild.  Some of our meetings and programs are open to the public.  Subscribe to our web site to be notified of upcoming programs and events.

The Helena Garden Club was established in 1951 to encourage local residents of Helena, Montana to learn more about gardening and get involved in the community.  It is affiliated with the Montana Federation of Garden Clubs, Rocky Mountain Regional Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs.  We will be celebrating our 60th year in Helena in 2011.  So whether you are online or in the area, get your hands dirty and join in on the fun.

The annual dues are $20 and the proceeds go to the local, regional, state and national gardening chapters.  This is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the U. S. which provides us with a lot of educational resources and ideas for how to beautify our yards and improve our communities.  If you are interested in joining the local garden club, contact us via the form below for more information.
